Human Resources- Internship
Four Inc. is seeking an Intern to support the Human Resources team with day-to-day HR operations and administrative functions. This role provides hands-on experience across multiple areas of HR, including recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and interested in developing a foundation in human resources within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
This is a hybrid role: three in-office days per week at Four Inc.’s Herndon, VA headquarters and two remote days.
Essential Functions
- Assist with recruitment activities, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communications
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and system updates
- Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and internal tracking systems
- Assist with HR reporting and system and employee file audits
- Support employee engagement initiatives, training coordination, and internal communications
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed
- Participate in HR meetings, projects, and training sessions
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university (HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Interest in human resources, recruiting, or people operations
