On October 13th, 2020, Army Computer Hardware Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS) launched their newest multi-award contract, ITES-SW2.
With no fee and decentralized ordering, this contract provides all federal customers with an optimal choice for procuring software products across 14 categories. Included among these categories are: Audio & Visual, Business & Finance, Operating Systems, Programming & Development, and IT Utility & Security. In addition to software, the ITES-SW2 contract supports the procurement of ancillary hardware and services requirements, enabling government end-users to purchase a total solution in a single order.
This contract represents considerable enhancements over the original ITES-SW contract, on which Four Inc. sold over $60m of software to the Army. The contract is no longer limited to Army customers, but open to all DOD and federal agencies, for a 10-year Period of Performance. The contract has a 10-year period of performance and a $13billion ceiling, and to accommodate a broader scope of products a security certification (CoN, RFM, STIG, etc.) is no longer required.
The CHESS program aims to keep pace with emerging technology and applications, allowing its customers to continually meet objectives as technology evolves through their best-in-class contracts. Four Inc. looks forward to supporting this mission over the next decade!
