Four Inc. was selected as the 2016 Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year by NASA’s Shared Services Center (NSSC) as part of the agency’s annual Small Business Industry Award (SBIA) program.
The award recognizes high performance on NASA contracts, responsiveness to contractual and customer requirements, and innovative practices that promote small business participation in the initiatives that NASA undertakes.
Four Inc. has been a Small Business contractor for NASA’s Shared Services Center since December 2013, assisting customers across NASA with the acquisition, inventory management, and budget planning for software products. Four Inc. has supported customers with the acquisition of products through 80 separate contract orders. Thanks to Four Inc.’s ability to negotiate with the software manufacturer, the agency has saved over $4m on mission critical software. Four Inc.’s delivery of these products has been on-time and under-contract price.
The NASA Shared Services Center and their customers across the agency repeatedly note the responsiveness to contractual requirements, requests for information, or issues. The Four Inc. account management staff works closely with contracting officials and program personnel to ensure satisfaction and program success. As a result of their extensive knowledge of Federal contracts, as well as their experience with the software manufacturer, they are quick to provide innovative solutions to problems and issues that arise on the execution of this complex contract.
