Controller
As the Controller at Four Inc., you will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations, managing accounting functions, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting and budgeting.
- Develop and maintain financial, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
- Lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor cash flow, investment activities, and banking relationships to optimize financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and coordinate the preparation of tax returns and other statutory filings.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial service providers.
- Actively monitor the health of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable and develop alert mechanisms for senior management.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Administer financial systems, software platforms, and tools, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility for financial reporting, developing KPIs, and financial analysis purposes.
Organizational Alignment
This position reports to the Four Inc. Chief Financial Officer and will oversee the accounting team.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Fifteen or more years of professional accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or relevant field.
- Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
- Experience in public sector markets and knowledge of Federal contracting practices.
- Knowledge of technology distribution and channel ecosystems is highly desirable.
- Knowledge leading financial system transformations, ERP implementations, and change management practices is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in financial management software, business intelligence reporting, data visualization and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Expertise of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Ability to be a self-starter and effectively lead an accounting team.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity in all aspects of work.
